Our family just returned from an unforgettable 3D 2N safari with Calabash to Nyerere National Park, and the trip exceeded our expectations.

Our guide, Rama, was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and the park. His stories kept us entertained, and he was more than happy to stay at the park all day from opening until closing to try to make sure we saw everything.

We saw a huge variety of animals, including hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, and even the rare African wild dog.

One of the most amazing moments was enjoying a delicious lunch at a beautiful scenic viewpoint. The setting was spectacular, and the food was delicious. The peace and quiet is breathtaking. Nyerere National Park is much quieter than some of the other parks, so you really feel like you are in the middle of nature.

The accommodation at Nyerere Tented Camp was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly suited to a family stay. Everything was organised seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our time in the bush.

In addition to the park, we enjoyed a boat safari, a fascinating bush walk, and a morning in a Maasai village where we learned about the Maasai and their way of living.

We were incredibly lucky to have a photographer, Innocent, spend two days with us. He shared his photos, which were amazing and captured our memories forever.
