DAY 1 – ARUSHA N. PARK – Walking + Game drives .

In the morning, drive to  Arusha National Park where you’ll  do a walking safari in the jungle and enjoy wildlife closely.  The walking Safari is assisted by an armed ranger and you will be able to see a variety of wildlife. Lunch is picnic.  Followed by game drives in the park visiting the Momella lakes and Ngurdoto Crater.   Dinner and overnight at Arumeru River Lodge

 

DAY 2 – 3:  TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK 

Game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is the third biggest National park in Tanzania. An unusually large population of elephants inhabits this sanctuary. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. During the dry season from July to November, many animals concentrate along Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. The area supports a great diversity of wildlife, including giraffe, buffalo, lesser kudu, eland, Oryx and zebra. Lion, leopard and cheetah are also present. Up to 6.000 elephants inhabit Tarangire in the dry season.   Dinner and overnight; Lake Burunge Tented Camp/Ngorongoro Farm House

 

Lake Burunge Tented Camp: 6 Luxury Tents are located in a shady bush land grove, with spectacular views onto Lake Burunge. Its main building offers a central lounge, and bar dining area with a raised wooden deck. This elevated platform is the ideal venue for guests to relax and enjoy a sun downer whilst the sun disappears over the lake, or to simply sit and enjoy the warm fire place.

 

DAY 4-6: SERENGETI – SERENGETI (Seronera area)

Depart after breakfast, to Serengeti (Seronera river valley area) the centre of Serengeti for more game drives till sunset. Dinner and overnight – Seronera Wildlife Lodge/Serengeti Sopa Lodge/Serengeti Savannah Camp.

 

Serengeti National Park: is Tanzania`s oldest and most popular National Park, also a world Heritage site and recently proclaimed a worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for it`s annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains as more than 200,000 zebras, 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest`s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migrations is quite, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillation game-viewing in Africa; Great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant, giraffe, eland, topi, kongoni, impala, gazelle, lion prides, leopards, cheeters, hyenas, etc. But there is more to Serengeti than large animals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surface of the park`s isolated granite kopjes full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded, as have 500-plus bird species.

DAY 7 – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK –NGORONGORO CRATER

Morning game drives, then drive to Ngorongoro crater with packed lunch.  You’ll have game drives enroute towards Ngorongoro. A stop at Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site where the Leakey’s discovered remains of Australopithecus, Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus, bringing crucial understanding to the study of the evolution of the human species. Dinner/overnight Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge/Ngorongoro Serena Lodge/Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, on the rim of the crater.

 

DAY 8 – NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR

Descend into the crate as early as possible for game drive in the crater till lunch time. (Picnic lunch near the hippo pool)  The crater is home for the endangered black Rhinoceros. So termed the garden of Eden’

you’ll see many other animals too.  D/overnight;  Kirurumu Tented Lodge/ Gibbs Farm/E-Unoto Lodge

 

DAY 9 – LAKE MANYARA PARK – ARUSHA

Game drive in the famous lake Manyara national park.  The park is famous for the tree climbing lions and pythons, hope you`ll be lucky to see them.  Lunch is picnic in the park near the lake shores, later on depart for Arusha arriving at about 0500pm.  Dinner and overnight at SG resort.
